Bangladesh opener Tanzid Hasan survived a nasty injury during an ICC T20 World Cup match against the Netherlands.

Vivian Kingma bowled a bouncer, but the batter failed to connect it, with the delivery getting stuck in his helmet grill. It was the third over of the Bangladesh’s innings.

He was checked by the medical team of the team, and a concussion test was conducted.

There were concerns about Tanzid’s safety, considering the pace of the short ball. The medical team declared him fit enough to continue as he survived any injury.
