'Babar Azam is a fake king' this cricketer thrashed the Pakistani captain

The Pakistan team is currently struggling a lot in the T20 World Cup. The Pakistani team, which played the final in 2022, is on the verge of being eliminated from the group stage itself. After losing to India and America, questions have started being raised on Babar's captaincy as well as his batting. Many former cricketers have already given him a piece of their mind. Now Pakistani cricketer Ahmed Shahzad has fiercely targeted Babar Azam. He raised questions on the strike in T20. Also, Babar was accused of ruining the Pakistan cricket team in the name of friendship.

Ahmed Shahzad lashed out at Babar

Ahmed Shahzad fiercely lashed out at Babar Azam during a show on Geo News. Babar Azam's fans in Pakistan call him king like Virat Kohli. Ahmed Shahzad got angry at this and called him a fake king. During this, he showed Babar's batting statistics and said that his average in the T20 tournament is only 26 and strike rate is 112. Shahzad expressed surprise and said that after playing 207 balls in the powerplay, Babar Azam has not been able to hit a single six. During this, he compared Babar's statistics with his 8-year-old statistics.

According to Shahzad, cricket has changed a lot in the last 8 years. In modern cricket, players are playing in a very different way, but Babar Azam has not been able to adapt himself accordingly. Because of this, his batting level is much lower than the new players and this has also affected Pakistan cricket. The team has not been able to win a single trophy.

Advice for returning to domestic cricket

Ahmed Shahzad also accused Babar Azam of ruining Pakistan cricket. He said that since becoming the captain, only Babar's friends play in the team. Despite poor performance, they are not dropped from the team, while domestic cricket players are not being given a chance, due to which new players are not able to develop. He asked Babar to go and play domestic cricket and give opportunities to new players to improve the game.
