South Africa became the first team from Group D to qualify for the Super 8 round of the T20 World Cup 2024. They have won each of their three games so far in the tournament and will face Nepal in their fourth and final league group stage match on June 15.
Australia defeated Namibia by nine wickets on Wednesday, June 12 to qualify for the Super 8 stage of T20 World Cup 2024. The Mitchell Marsh-led team has also won each of their first three matches, and will face Scotland in their last match on June 16.
Rohit Sharma's India became the third team to qualify for the Super Eight of the ongoing ICC showpiece event. India defeated Ireland by eight wickets and Pakistan by six runs before beating USA and moving to the next round of the competition which will conclude with the final on June 29.
West Indies defeated New Zealand by 13 runs to become the first team from Group C to qualify for the Super 8 on Thursday (June 13) morning. New Zealand have won both their group matches so far.

Notably, two teams from each group would move to the Super 8 round. A total of 20 teams were divided into four groups.
In the Super 8 round there would be two groups of four teams each. All the Group 1 and Group 2 matches will be held in the West Indies from June 19 to June 25. Top two teams from each group would feature in the two semi-finals on June 27.
