Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dubey shared an unbroken 67-run partnership in 65 balls on a difficult pitch. After a hat-trick of wins in the tournament, India reached the Super Eight with six points. America is in second place with four points from three matches.

Arshdeep was the man of the match. His performance is the best bowling performance by an Indian in the T20 World Cup. Earlier this record was in the name of Ravichandran Ashwin, who took four wickets for 11 runs against Australia in Mirpur in 2014. Arshdeep got a good support from Hardik Pandya who took two wickets for 14 runs in four overs. Axar Patel got one success.
