South Africa, who won the toss and elected to bat first, posted a strong total of 205 for 5 in their 20 overs.

The innings began aggressively. Openers Jordan Harman (53) and Conor Esterhuizen (32) put on a quick 84-run opening partnership in just 47 balls.

After the duo’s dismissal, in-form batsman Dewald Brevis smashed 32 runs off 23 balls, hitting two fours and two sixes. In the death overs, Rubin Harman made 27 and Duane Johnson made 23 to take the team past 200.
