UAE clinched a six-wicket win over Indonesia to register its first win of its home Women’s Asia Cup at the Dubai International Stadium on Friday.

Spinner Suraksha Kotte starred with her three-wicket haul before a 45-run partnership between captain Esha Oza and Rinitha Rajith helped UAE chase down 74 in 13.1 overs.

With this result, the Indonesians ended their maiden Asia Cup campaign with three losses, while UAE still remains in the hunt for a semifinal spot.

The other two teams in Group B are Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, which currently occupy the first and second places in the standings.
