Sports Desk: In the 28th match of UP T-20 League Season-4, Lucknow Falcons gave a thrilling performance and defeated Kanpur Superstars by 13 runs using the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method. Rain disrupted the match played at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur several times, due to which ultimately DLS rule had to be resorted to and Lucknow was declared the winner.

In the match, Kanpur Superstars won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Lucknow Falcons scored a respectable score of 160 runs at the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. For Lucknow, Himanshu Singh played a brilliant inning of 43 runs on 33 balls and Yashu Pradhan played a brilliant inning of 40 runs on 27 balls. Apart from this, Priyam Garg strengthened the team's score by playing brilliant innings of 32 not out and captain Vipraj Nigam played brilliant innings of 18 not out. Navneet Kumar took two wickets in bowling for Kanpur.

Kanpur Superstars, who set out to chase the target, had a very bad start and their first two wickets fell at the score of just 20 runs. Sameer Rizvi struggled and scored 17 runs, but when the team had scored 68 runs for four wickets in 10 overs, the game had to be stopped again due to heavy rain. At that time the DLS par score was 81 runs, according to which Kanpur team was trailing by 13 runs. Due to the rain not stopping, the umpires declared the game over and Lucknow Falcons were declared the winners.
