Indian batter Virat Kohli was caught teasing New Zealand's Glenn Phillips with John Cena's trademark "you can't see me" gesture during the 1st ODI in Auckland on Wednesday.

The incident happened after Phillips walked out to bat in the 15th over, with WWE great John Cena's entrance theme song playing in the background. As Phillips was having a chat with Daryl Mitchell, cameras spotted Kohli teasing Phillips from the other side of the pitch, but he was ignored by the duo.

Kohli, however, did not stop there as he walked towards Phillips while he was going to take guard, and made the famous "you can't see me" gesture once again.
The incident caught the attention of fans on social media, which was flooded with reels of Kohli teasing Phillips using the retired WWE wrestler's trademark move. Whenever Phillips walks out to bat, the DJ in New Zealand invariably plays John Cena's entrance theme song.

Kohli, meanwhile, scripted history during the ODI series opener at Eden Park, becoming the first batter to boast a 50-plus ODI average in all SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia) nations.
Kohli, who turned 38 on Thursday, continued his rich vein of form in ODIs, slamming 74 off 51 balls as India won the match by five wickets.

In South Africa, Virat has played 20 ODIs, having made 993 runs in 18 innings at an average of 76.38, with three centuries and six fifties.
