Tilak said, “If we had won that match in Hyderabad, it would have been very special for us to have two Telugu players on the field to lead the team to victory, but God has the right timing for everything. We have to trust our process and keep working hard.”
Tilak told that this time batting on the pitch was not easy. Hitting sixes was challenging due to the large field and slow balls, so both of them focused on singles, doubles and fast runs instead of playing big shots.

Tilak told that he had promised coach Gautam Gambhir and assistant coach Sitanshu Kotak to take the match till the end. This time he implemented the same strategy and played an important role in helping India win.
