The third and final match of the three-match ODI series between India and West Indies will be played on Saturday, October 3 at the PCA International Cricket Stadium Ground 'A', New Chandigarh. The Indian team, which won both the initial matches by 8-8 wickets and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series, will now be eyeing a clean sweep of the West Indies by winning this last match. At the same time, the visiting West Indies team will enter the field with the intention of winning this match, saving its honor and registering its first win on the tour.

Indian team captain Shubman Gill can make some changes in this match. After fast bowler Prasidh Krishna is out of the third ODI, experienced fast bowler Mohammed Siraj can be included in the playing eleven. Apart from this, due to injury to Naman Dhir, there is every possibility of Nitish Kumar Reddy getting a chance in the playing 11. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal may have to sit on the bench for the time being. The top order of the Indian team is in excellent form. Captain Shubhman Gill has scored a total of 333 runs in the first two matches with the help of a century and a double century, while Rohit Sharma also scored an excellent century in the last match.

Star batsman Virat Kohli will take charge at number three, who scored a brilliant century in the first match. Apart from this, Ruturaj Gaikwad, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Kumar Reddy will provide further strength to the team's batting in the middle order. Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Siraj, Aaqib Nabi and Gurnoor Brar will handle the bowling attack.
