West Indies opener Justin Greaves has been ruled out of his side’s second ODI against India in Guwahati, after sustaining a cal injury.

“Greaves picked up the injury during his innings in the opening match of the series,” Cricket West Indies said.

Greaves started the series with a 101 off 108 balls (12×4) in Thiruvanathapuram but it couldn’t stop his side from falling to an eight-wicket defeat.

It was the 32-year-old’s first hundred in the format in 26 matches.

It remains to be seen whether he will return to the playing XI for the final ODI in New Chandigarh on October 3.
