Former Indian fast bowler will join CSK coaching staff

CEO of CSK kasi vishwanathan confirmed that Mohit Sharma Will join the team’s support staff as the new bowling coach. “Mohit will be joining CSK as our new bowling coach. His name was recommended by our head coach Zaheer Khan. Mohit was fantastic with us as a player and we are hopeful that he will do an excellent job as the bowling coach,” Viswanathan told TimesofIndia.com.

From Purple Cap winner to IPL bowling coach

Mohit’s most memorable IPL season came in 2014 while representing CSK. He took 23 wickets in that campaign and won the Purple Cap, making him one of the leading wicket-takers of the tournament.

He played 26 ODIs for the national team and took 31 wickets, while taking six wickets in his eight T20I appearances.
