The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly roped in Muthoot Fincorp as the title sponsor for the next two home seasons of Indian cricket. The development comes at a time when the Indian men's cricket team is set to host the West Indies in their home white-ball series.

As per a report by Cricbuzz, the BCCI has locked in the deal at a base price of INR 4.85 crore per match. The report added that the high base price left little room for bidders. India are set to host the West Indies for three ODIs and five T20Is, which is slated to begin on September 27.

The three-match ODI series will commence on Sunday, September 27, at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram. The second ODI will be played on September 30, followed by the third match on October 3.

The T20I series will begin on October 6 and will end on October 17. The BCCI's reported sponsorship agreement with Muthoot Fincorp will fund the next two home seasons of Indian cricket.

Shubman Gill to lead ODI team; Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli return

Shubman Gill will continue to captain the ODI side, with KL Rahul named vice-captain for the West Indies series. Dhruv Jurel has also been included in the 15-member squad.

The team will be without several regulars, including Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, Axar Patel and Jasprit Bumrah, who are set to represent India at the Asian Games.

The ODI squad features a mix of seasoned performers and young talent. Auqib Nabi and Naman Dhir have earned places in the team, while Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashasvi Jaiswal have also been included. Ravindra Jadeja returns to the ODI setup.

Rishabh Pant has again been left out of both white-ball squads.

Shubman Gill (captain), Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Dhruv Jurel, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Gurnoor Brar, Mohammed Siraj, Auqib Nabi, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Naman Dhir.

Auqib Nabi and Naman Dhir are the new additions to the ODI squad, while the return of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli brings experience to the team.

Shreyas Iyer named T20I captain, Tilak Varma vice-captain

As expected, Shreyas Iyer has been appointed captain of the Indian T20I team, with Tilak Varma named vice-captain.

The T20I squad includes Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Ishan Kishan, Sanju Samson, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Arshdeep Singh, Prince Yadav and Mayank Yadav.

The upcoming home series will allow India to evaluate their white-ball options for the next phase of international cricket.
