India secured a 7-wicket victory in the 1st T20I and will be aiming for a win in the upcoming game to secure the series.

India won the toss and opted to bowl. Speaking at the toss, Shreyas Iyer said, “We are going to bowl first. You have a fair idea of how the wicket plays, and it gives the bowlers an idea, a little bit of an advantage. It wasn’t comprehensive because we could have won by a huge margin. As a bowling unit, we could have picked wickets in the middle.”

Speaking on today’s India playing 11, Shreyas Iyer said, “Varun is injured, and Ravi Bishnoi comes in.”

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Zadran said, “Again, I would say if I had won the toss, I would have wanted to bowl first. But unfortunately, we lost it again, and we will try to think about the batting department, how to execute the plan well according to the conditions.”

“Yeah, exactly. We thought about it. We want to play positive cricket. We came with positive intent. Yes, we didn’t get a good start that day, but we covered in the middle overs. But we will try to play better cricket today, have a good start in the powerplay and put a good total on the board.”
